George Dorman Meredith Fulton, a native of Carleton Place, Ontario, was born there on 17 May 1894. A civil servant by profession, he attested for service in the CEF at Ottawa on 1 June 1916 at age 22 years. He was an original member of the 73rd Bty, CFA.
