Vernon Kirkwood Lutes, a native of Brantford, Ont and a shoemaker by trade, was conscripted under the Military Service Act, 1917 and enrolled in the 2nd Central Ontario Regt on 5 Jan 1918.
His only medal. Medals to reinforcement units that were not part of the Cdn Corps are scarce.
