Canadian Army Medical Corps

Canadian Army Medical Corps (CAMC), possible prototype: badge pattern as for other Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps badges, but with name tablet scroll CANADIAN ARMY MEDICAL CORPS. Br, void, flat back, Mk Scully.  

In 1926, the Permanent Force component was designated the "Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps" while the Non-Permanent (Militia) component remained the "Canadian Army Medical Corps" until combined with the Permanent Force component in 1936.  This badge is possibly a prototype for the Militia component from 1926 and does not appear in General Orders.  Also found in OSD and solid brass. In any case, an extremely rare pattern.
