Walter Johnston was born at Thurso, Scotland on 28 Jul 1895. He was employed as a clerk, residing at Brantford, Ont when he attested to the CFA, CEF on 23 Oct 1915. His number indicates that he served with 40th Bty, CFA (10th Bde Arty, 3rd Div).
Sold with copy of his attestation paper from his LAC file. More research would be profitable.
