 Albert Arlington Cox was born at St. Catharines, Ont on 4 Jan 1895. He was an office clerk by trade with 3-½ years service in the 19th Lincoln Regt when he attested to the 49th Bty, CFA on 25 Feb 1916 at St. Catharines. On 25 Feb 1916. He arrived in the UK on 22 Sep 1916, was posted to Trench Mortar Batteries in 4th Division Artillery and eventually to 51st (Howitzer) Bty, 13th Bde, CFA in 5th Div Artillery which was deployed as part of the Canadian Corps Artillery. He returned to England on 16 May 1919 and thence to Canada for discharge on demobilization at Ottawa on 29 Jun 1919. He died on 2 Jul 1964.
