William Stedman entered the French theatre of war on 18 Feb 1915 and was killed in action at Aubers Ridge on 9 May 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial within the Le Touret Military Cemetery in France. Sold with MIC and CWGC memorial page.
