SE6497 Pte Jean-Jacques Gourgues attested at Quebec City for the Canadian Army (Active Force) on 6 Sep 1950. Originally assigned to the RCAMC, he transferred to the RCIC and served with 1stBn, R22eR including service in Korea from Mar 1952 to May 1953. He was released at Quebec City on 7 Oct 1953. Entitled to the UN Korea Medal (not present) and also the KVSM. Sold with photocopies of service record with privacy strikeouts.
