Wallace Ross Bolton was born Grenville, Ont on 20 Dec 1890. He was a jeweler by trade and a resident of Merrickville, Ont, when he attested on 1 Apr 1917. He was initially assigned to a Divisional Ammunition Column, but served in France and Flanders with 38th Bn, CEF [12th Bde, 4th Div].
