 Thomas Froud, a Regular soldier with 1^st Bn, Rifle Brigade, deployed to France, arriving at LeHavre, 21 Sep 1914. He was discharged, possibly on account of wounds, on 4 Jan 1916. He subsequently emigrated to Canada.300.

Sold with a copy of his MIC and a contemporary Rifle Brigade cap badge (KK 705). A good “Old Contemptible” 1914 Star trio. Sold with enlarged copy of MIC, showing entry to France on 22 Jul 1915. 12^th (Service) Bn, RB entered France on 22 Jul 1915
