Elgin Speers, born Caledon, Ont, 22 Oct 1896, a farmer by trade, was conscripted under the Military Service Act, 1917 and enrolled in the 2nd Central Ontario Regt on 3 Jun 1918.
His only medal. Medals reinforcement units that were not part of the Cdn Corps are scarce.
