Spain: Cavalry trooper sword, Model 1907 Puerto Seguro, 35 in straight fullered steel blade, mk "Artilleria Fca Nacional" and number 28981 w/ minor age stains; has wood grip and solid steel guard engraved w/ cavalry device of crowned crossed lances and sabres, with crown erased as used during the 2nd Republic, 1931-39; steel scabbard marked Toledo has been bent and bears some age stains. Designed by Capt Luis Correjal, Marquis of Puerto Seguro before the UK 1908 pattern. Generally Fine. $395.
